Understand your gut.One clear stepat a time.
The Gut Health Hub is a place to learn about your gut, work through guided courses and keep private notes as you go. When you are ready for individual help, you can contact Colonoscopy Brisbane to ask for specialist review.
Free membership available·No card needed·A learning account, not a patient file
One calm place to understand your gut. Learn at your own pace, track privately and connect with practice-led care when you need it.
Find clear, evidence-based explanations from a specialist practice. Keep a diary that remains private unless you choose to share it. If you need more support, consultations and advanced testing may be arranged by the practice when appropriate. You do not need to be an existing patient, and it is free to get started.
See how the Hub works.
See your current courses, continue where you left off, read a short daily lesson or add private notes to your diary. Existing patients can also use Care to view appointments and documents shared by the practice.
Today — a short gut-health topic, and Wally suggesting a sensible next step.
Plain-English learning
Read short lessons and work through guided courses developed by the practice.
Notes that stay private
Keep food and symptom notes for your own reference. Add as much or as little as is useful to you.
Share only when you choose
If you are a patient, you can choose to send a diary snapshot to your care team. Nothing is shared automatically.
Specialist review
Contact the practice when you would like individual advice. Existing patients can also view appointments and shared documents in Care.
Choose a course or topic and learn at your own pace.
Guided courses
Follow short lessons in order, check your understanding and return whenever you like.
One short topic each day
Read a short gut-health topic each day, including common questions and myths.
Diary and food tools
Record symptoms, meals and food reintroductions for your own reference. The practice cannot see this unless you choose to share a snapshot.
Continue where you stopped
The Hub remembers where you are in a course. It tracks learning progress; it does not score your health.

A real membership that stays free.
The free membership includes Today, a selection of lessons and guides, guided journeys, the Play Lab and Care.
The full toolkit
The full library, when you want it.
If you want the complete course library and additional diary tools, you can choose a paid option inside the Hub. Prices are shown before purchase. The optional trial requires no card and does not renew automatically.
Nothing on this page charges you or signs you up to a payment.
Speak with a specialist.
Some questions are best discussed with a doctor. Tell the practice what you would like help with, and the team can explain the appropriate consultation options.
Questions about your symptoms
Use Care or contact the practice to tell the team what you would like help with. Online booking is being introduced gradually; until it is available for you, contact the practice directly.
A doctor consultation
Video consultations with Dr Goutham Sivasuthan are being prepared inside the Hub and are not yet open for booking. Contact the practice if you would like to arrange a consultation sooner.
Food & nutrition
For individual food or nutrition advice, speak with your GP, gastroenterologist or an Accredited Practising Dietitian. The Hub does not currently offer dietitian appointments. Its Learn section explains when a dietitian may help and how to find one.
When further investigation may help.
If specialist review suggests that further investigation may help, the practice can discuss gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy (PillCam) or gut microbiome testing with you. A procedure is only arranged after the clinical team has reviewed whether it is suitable.
If you have symptoms you would like looked at, start with the gut health assessment.

A membership, not a patient file.
Joining creates a learning account, not a medical record. The practice cannot see your diary unless you deliberately share a snapshot. A consultation or procedure is a separate step that you choose deliberately.
Clear about what it can and can’t do.
Education, not diagnosis
The Hub provides general education. It cannot diagnose symptoms or decide whether you need a test or treatment — that always sits with the practice’s clinical team.
Not for emergencies
If you are seriously unwell — heavy bleeding, severe pain, collapse — call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department.
Wally guides; he does not advise
The Hub’s wombat guide helps you find your way around, and nothing more. He does not read your diary, assess symptoms or offer clinical opinions.
Your diary stays private
Notes you keep are yours. The care team sees a diary snapshot only when you deliberately submit one for review. See the Hub’s Terms of Use.
